A very interesting use of G.K. Chesterton, Islam, Job, Christ.
Slavoj Zizek, a Slovenian sociologist, postmodern philosopher, and cultural critic is a professor at the Institute for Sociology, Ljubljana and at the European Graduate School.
I enjoy Zizek and I have to admit that I'm struck by the clarity of his criticism of our culture. I think a lot of that has to do with his being Marxist. I wonder to what extent our own society embodies our Christianity or, inversely, to what extent is our ability to criticise our culture hobbled by our investment in it? I think the latter is more likely than the former. Then again a lot of good work is being done by emergent people on counter-cultural Christianity.
Keep it up!
