Adventists to assist govt in resolving N’Delta crisis - The Nigerian Tide

The Seventh Day Adventist Church has reiterated its preparedness to assist the government in the resolution of the crisis in the Niger Delta.

Adventists often stay Adventist, Pew survey shows, with good analysis by Monte Sahlin, a church growth specialist and director of research for the Ohio Conference, found positive news in the Pew study, as well as items of concern.

GENERAL COMMENTS
This is definitely an edition that is worth reading. There is only one article, GOD OF THE PROPHETS, that richly deserves to be panned. As usual, I’m not bashful about doing it. That piece will be reviewed last.

LETTERS
It was gratifying to see my November 15 letter included with the others in this issue. What impressed me most, however, was a letter commenting on the Sean Taylor article in the December 27 Review. Timely!

A few years ago David Brooks visited Princeton University in an attempt to understand my generation's meritocratic elite. What he found were trained workaholics, their 18-hours-a-day schedules packed with classes, work, extracurriculars, and sports. These students he dubbed Organizational Kids.
